KEEP WALKING: A PROGRAMME FOR LIFE

Through its Foundation, Abertis is playing an active role in reducing road traffic accident deaths.

Together with UNICEF and the Institut Guttmann, they are promoting a project designed to reduce the impact of road traffic accidents, especially for children, in the world’s poorest countries.

Teams of clinicians specialising in traumatic spinal injuries will travel to these countries to teach methods for dealing with this kind of injury and carry out informational, training and demonstration actions.

The ultimate goal of these actions is to promote the implementation of clinical and therapeutic protocols that are more effective in caring for the victims of road traffic accidents, particularly amongst children.
