The Abertis Foundation also embraces the Group’s inclination towards historical and artistic heritage, as well as cultural values. It offers to the public patrimonial assets of exceptional interest such as Castellet Castle, which, in addition to being the headquarters of the Abertis Foundation, is also the headquarters of the UNESCO International Center on Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves (UNESCOMED).
Moreover, the Abertis Foundation collaborates with large cultural institutions with the aim of promoting art and culture, supporting the public administrations of the countries where it is present. In the last years it has sponsored numerous art exhibitions, giving visibility to artworks of renowned artists such as Dalí, Velázquez, Miró, Picasso or Gaudí, among others, making them travel around the world.
