Abertis takes its Road Safety Forum Network to Italy

Administración Abertis,

The Abertis Group, through its subsidiary A4 Holding, organized the first edition of its Road Safety Forum in Verona (Italy). Experts on mobility and road safety met at this meeting to share ideas and experiences and to reflect on future developments in innovation for accident prevention.

Within the framework of the day, the results of the first Driving Observatory carried out by A4 Holding in Italy were also presented. This study analyses risk behaviors on motorways, and monitors the evolution of results over time. The objective of the project is to create, from the data obtained, a series of initiatives and campaigns in order to improve road safety.

The inauguration of the Verona meeting was attended by Federico Sboarina, mayor of Verona, and Carlos Del Rio, President of A4 Holding. Representatives of the regional public sector, the transport and mobility sector, and police forces, among others, also participated in the event.

Abertis International Road Safety Forum Network

This is the first year this forum takes place in Italy, which joins the network of forums that the Abertis Group promotes in the countries in which it operates. Italy joinsArgentina, Chile, Brazil, Spain, France and Puerto Rico. More than 7,500 people participated in the 2018 forums. Abertis collaborates with multiple international organizations that promote solutions to this global problem. The Group has signed a three-year partnership partnership with the international organization UNICEF to combat the leading cause of death in school-age children: road accidents.
