Abertis' entail to the world of art includes another historical out-standing milestone: the acquisition, by means of dation, of the oil of the of Malaga artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Woman with cap and leather neck (1937), in 2007. The painting can be visited nowadays at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
The exhibition “Gala Salvador Dalí” provides further evidence of Abertis' commitment to culture, through the collaboration with cultural institutions in the areas where the Group has a presence, with the aim of bringing culture to society and supporting governments in this mission. Cultural sponsorship is at the heart of Abertis' Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility Plan, in which the company regards culture as an asset that enriches people and enhances life quality.
