GO BACK
The Abertis Foundation, the Fundació Joan Miró, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, once again collaborate to bring a collection of masterpieces by the Catalan artist Joan Miró to Paris, France, in a project that transfers Miro’s art works to Spanish Embassies abroad.
It is a set of five works that includes the oil paintings Personnage, Oiseau I, II and III (1973), where Miró enlarges the images until they occupy practically the entire canvas with an energetic gesture. The collection is completed with the sculptures Femme, Oiseau and Femme, both also from the beginning of the 70’s, whom title and composition are based on the artist's signs vocabulary.
Previously, this collection traveled to Brussels, Rome, Berlin and Dublin, landing now at the Spanish embassy in Paris. The initiative aims to take it also to Spain’s diplomatic and consular representations in other countries, especially in Latin America.
