Abertis Foundation > Cultural action
The Abertis Foundation also integrates the Group’s awareness of historical and artistic heritage, as well as cultural values. It makes patrimonial assets of exceptional interest available to the public, such as Castellet Castle, which, in addition to being the headquarters of the Abertis Foundation, is also the headquarters of the UNESCO International Center on Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves (UNESCOMED).
Likewise (o moreover), the Abertis Foundation collaborates with large cultural institutions with the aim of promoting art and culture, supporting the public administrations of the countries in which it has presence. In the last years it has sponsored numerous art exhibitions, giving visibility to renowned artists as Dalí, Velázquez, Miró, Picasso or Gaudí, among others, making them travel around the world.
