This summer, the public will be able to visit the wholly renewed Miró Universe touring exhibition at the Instituto Cervantes in Athens from 13 to 27July. 

Abertis, through its foundation and subsidiaries in the United States ofAmerica, has helped to take this project to the country in order to promoteSpanish culture and to raise awareness of this selection of works in one of the regions where it has a presence.

From 19 December 2022 to 19 March 2023, the installation presents four paintings and a sculpture by Joan Miró, as well as photographs by Joaquim Gomis, a friend of the artist and the first president of the Fundació Joan Miró.

Miró Universe is to be presented for the first time in India. Between 2019 and 2021, the Spanish embassies in Rome, Berlin, Dublin, Brussels and Paris hosted Miró Universe, as well as CulturalCentre of Spain in Mexico, thanks to collaboration between the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs,European Union and Cooperation, Abertis and its foundation, and the Fundació Joan Miró.

The Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico presents, between October 8 and December 12, four paintings and a sculpture by Joan Miró and five photographs taken by Joaquim Gomis, friend of the artist and the first president of the Fundació Miró. 

The Abertis Foundation, the Fundació Joan Miró, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, once again collaborate to bring a collection of masterpieces by the Catalan artist Joan Miró to Paris, France, in a project that transfers Miro’s art works to Spanish Embassies abroad.

The itinerant exhibition "Universo Miró", organized thanks to the collaboration between the Abertis Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, and Fundació Joan Miró, was inaugurated today at the Embassy of Spain in Brussels, Belgium.

• The Irish capital is now hosting this travelling project which, thanks to the collaborationof the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Abertis Foundation and the Fundació Joan Miró,exposes several pieces of Miró in Spanish Embassies and Consulates between 2019 and2020.

• The work set includes the paintings Personnage, Oiseau I, II, and III and the sculpturesFemme, Oiseau and Femme, of early 70’s.

• Abertis, via its Foundation, partnerships with cultural institutions to make cultureaccessible to the general public and to accompany Governments in countries in which ithas a presence.

Abertis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, and the Fundació Joan Miró have signed a collaboration agreement this morning to promote Spanish culture and artists in the world, through the Embassies and Consulates of Spain abroad.

The set of works that compose this sample include paintings from 1973 Personnage, Oiseau I, II, and III, of simplified composition, where Miró magnifies the images until he occupies practically the whole canvas with an energetic gesture. The sample is completed with the sculptures Femme, Oiseau and Femme, both also from the beginning of the seventies, which the title and the composition are based on the artist's vocabulary of signs.

Abertis sponsors the exhibition “Gala Salvador Dalí”, the first international exhibition dedicated to Gala, artist and Dali’s muse, hosted by the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC). The exhibition will be opened to the public from July 6 to October 14, 2018.

Abertis, through its Italian subsidiary A4 Holding, brings the treasures of the Patrimonio Nacional to the Scuderie del Quirinale Musem in Rome, with the exhibition “Da Caravaggio a Bernini.

• The work of Pablo Picasso can be viewed in the city of São Paulo from 22 May until 14 August 2016.
• Entitled “Picasso: Erudite Hand, Wild Eye”, the exhibition features 116 works by the artist, the vast majority unseen in Brazil, and 37 by other artists with a connection to the Spanish painter.

Abertis, a través de su filial en Brasil, Arteris, patrocina la primera retrospectiva de Joan Miró que viaja a Brasil. La muestra toma el título de “Joan Miró. A força da materia” y reúne un total de 114 obras del artista, entre las que se incluyen pinturas, dibujos, esculturas y obra gráfica realizados entre los años 1931 y 1981. Las obras forman parte de la colección de la Fundación Joan Miró (66 del total), y de particulares.

La exposición “Velázquez”, patrocinada por Abertis, a través de su filial en Francia, Sanef, se consolida como uno de los acontecimientos culturales del año en París, con una media de visitas de cerca de 5.000 personas diarias, lo que augura cifras récord.

La retrospectiva de Dalí, patrocinada por Abertis a través de su filial en Brasil, Arteris, es ya la exposición del artista más visitada en la historia. Su paso por la ciudad de Rio de Janeiro, en Brasil, ha contado con cerca de un millón de visitas, y supera los anteriores récords registrados en el Centro Pompidou de París (790.000) y en el Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid (732.000).

La Fundación Abertis patrocina la mayor retrospectiva realizada hasta la fecha del británico Richard Hamilton, que acogerá el Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid, del 27 de junio al 13 de octu-bre de este año. La exposición, de uno de los artistas más influyentes del siglo XX, fue concebida específicamente para el Museo madrileño por el propio Hamilton, quien se implicó y trabajó de manera directa desde los primeros meses de 2010 hasta antes de fallecer en 2011.
