Miró Universe is to be presented for the first time in India. Between 2019 and 2021, the Spanish embassies in Rome, Berlin, Dublin, Brussels and Paris hosted Miró Universe, as well as CulturalCentre of Spain in Mexico, thanks to collaboration between the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs,European Union and Cooperation, Abertis and its foundation, and the Fundació Joan Miró.

The Irish capital is now hosting this travelling project which, thanks to the collaborationof the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Abertis Foundation and the Fundació Joan Miró,exposes several pieces of Miró in Spanish Embassies and Consulates between 2019 and2020.
The work set includes the paintings Personnage, Oiseau I, II, and III and the sculpturesFemme, Oiseau and Femme, of early 70’s.

The set of works that compose this sample include paintings from 1973 Personnage, Oiseau I, II, and III, of simplified composition, where Miró magnifies the images until he occupies practically the whole canvas with an energetic gesture. The sample is completed with the sculptures Femme, Oiseau and Femme, both also from the beginning of the seventies, which the title and the composition are based on the artist's vocabulary of signs.

Abertis, a través de su filial en Brasil, Arteris, patrocina la primera retrospectiva de Joan Miró que viaja a Brasil. La muestra toma el título de “Joan Miró. A força da materia” y reúne un total de 114 obras del artista, entre las que se incluyen pinturas, dibujos, esculturas y obra gráfica realizados entre los años 1931 y 1981. Las obras forman parte de la colección de la Fundación Joan Miró (66 del total), y de particulares.

La retrospectiva de Dalí, patrocinada por Abertis a través de su filial en Brasil, Arteris, es ya la exposición del artista más visitada en la historia. Su paso por la ciudad de Rio de Janeiro, en Brasil, ha contado con cerca de un millón de visitas, y supera los anteriores récords registrados en el Centro Pompidou de París (790.000) y en el Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid (732.000).

La Fundación Abertis patrocina la mayor retrospectiva realizada hasta la fecha del británico Richard Hamilton, que acogerá el Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid, del 27 de junio al 13 de octu-bre de este año. La exposición, de uno de los artistas más influyentes del siglo XX, fue concebida específicamente para el Museo madrileño por el propio Hamilton, quien se implicó y trabajó de manera directa desde los primeros meses de 2010 hasta antes de fallecer en 2011.
